I'm 21 (soon to be 22), but I still love Blue Clues. I feel that it is one of the few intelligent shows for children. (If you've ever baby-sat kids recently, you'll know what I mean.) But I must say that I'm very wary about the change in Blue's Clues hosts. I mean, Steve was perfect for that show. He had a sort of innocence that was endearing, but at the same time he didn't talk down to kids and he was still entertaining for adults. Now he's decided to call it quits. His replacement: his "brother" Joe. Supposedly, Steve is "leaving for college" and his brother Joe will be staying at his house with Blue. Nick Jr. has all this stuff about making the transition smooth for kids, but what about for the rest of us! Soon, there will be no good shows that I can watch with my little sister. I'll end up stuck watching Dora the Explorer forever! (Dora is a hideously repetitive show that assumes that all kids are either hearing-impaired or really stupid.) Of course, there's always SpongeBob... What do you think? If you think I'm crazy to be caring about these things, you're probably not the only one.
