Just a shot in the dark, here. Actaeon's post about the Shakespearean tarot cards he was designing reminded me that Ganymede and I had recently began designing Shakespeare-related cards for the collectible trading card game Magic: The Gathering. Is anyone here familiar with that game? If so, I'd love to hear other people's ideas for cards, as well as suggestions pertaining to the ones we've already designed. Now that I'm reminded of this project, I'm getting excited about the thought of continuing our work on it.
I'll post descriptions of the cards we've designed thus far in replies to this topic, so as not to exceed the message length limit.

Hamlet (shaxper)
Prince Hamlet <RRBaBu1> Summon Scholar, 2/1. Fading 5. Remove 1 fade counter from Prince Hamlet to destroy a creature in play.
King Claudius <BaRR2> Summon King, ½. When King Claudius comes into play, sacrifice all other kings that you control. T: Take control of a non-king creature in play. Control of this creature returns to its original owner if King Claudius leaves play. If, at any time, you control more than one other gold creature card in play, all creatures you control gain 0/-1 and King Claudius may not use his ability.
The Mouse Trap <RR> Enchantment. Sacrifice The Mouse Trap: Target creature has X damage dealt to it where X equals the amount of creatures in your graveyard.
Vengeful Spirit <BaBaBaBa3> Enchant Creature. If a spell, ability, effect, or creature dealing combat damage causes target creature to leave play, the controller of that spell, ability, effect, or creature dealing combat damage must forfeit the game at the end of his next turn. He may still win the game before that time.
Ophelia <WW2> Summon Lady, 0/1. Sacrifice Ophelia to deal 3 damage to all creatures and players.
Horatio <BuBu2> Summon Scholar, 1/1. T: Look at the top three cards of your library. Put them back in the same order.
Poisoned Tip <BaBaBa2> Enchant creature. Whenever target creature deals combat damage to another creature, that creature is buried at the end of combat. If enchanted creature deals combat damage to a player, that player recieves 3 poison counters.
Duel <RR2> Enchantment. Sacrifice Duel: Choose a target creature you control and a target creature opponent controls. Tap both. Each creature deals combat damage equal to its toughness to the other creature. If only one creature survives, its controller gains 5 life.
Polonius <BuBu1> Summon Royal Advisor, 0/1. Opponents must play with their hands revealed.
Laertes <BuR4> Summon Scholar, 2/2. If, at any time, a white creature leaves play on either side, Laertes gains +4/+4 Trample and must immediately attack the player responsible for the white creature leaving play, if possible. Laertes may attack when it is not your attack phase in order to fulfill this requirement. If the white creature is removed from play during or at the end of an attack phase in which Laertes was already attacking, he must attack the player responsible immediately after the next time that he untaps.
Fortinbras <BaGR3> Summon Prince, 2/2. If there are any kings in play, Fortinbras becomes tapped and does not untap during your upkeep. If there are no Kings in play, all of your creatures gain +1/+0 and the landwalk ability of your choice. You may only choose one landwalk ability for all of your creatures and you may not change it while this ability lasts.
Rot <BaBa2> Sorcery. Tap all of target player’s creatures. Then destroy all tapped creatures with power 2 or greater. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. -- Hamlet.

King Lear <BuBuWW2> Summon King. 10/10. Fading 2. When King Lear comes into play, sacrifice all other kings that you control. If at any time, King Lear enters the graveyard, you must assign a +5/+5 counter to any two creatures that are not under your control. If King Lear is in your graveyard , sacrifice a white creature you control to return King Lear to your hand.
