I remember hearing that Branagh was doing another Shakespeare comedy on Broadway about a year or two ago. I recall that it had Heather Graham in it and a very interesting interpretation of the play.
Did anyone see this? Which comedy was it, and did the interpretation work? I'm just curious to know.
Thanks!

UGH! Heather Graham! How could Branagh make such a hideous casting decision? Not only did she RUIN Austin Powers II but the only reason she gets acting jobs is because she markets herself as a cheap whore! Okay, that done with, I would like to know what comedy he was doing. I'm curious. He did a great job with Much Ado, and I wouldn't mind seeing some of the other plays performed for mass audiences.

Not familiar with this one at all. Though have either of you heard of a movie by him called A Midwinter's Tale? It's supposed to be about a troupe of actors who come into this dinky little town and audition the townsfolk for a performance of Hamlet for the Christmas play....the 'woman' they choose for Gertrude turns out to be a drag queen. I can't find it in any of the video stores around here, and the clerks are starting to give me funny looks (looks that say, why are you looking for this stuff when you could be renting Tomb Raider?) Looks like the IMDB got the title wrong. Check it out: us.imdb.com/Title?0113403Can't seem to find it for sale at any of the online video vendor sites, but there's always TombRaider. Have you seen that yet? A surefire classic

It was released under both titles, "In the Bleak Midwinter" and "Midwinter's Tale", though I like the second title better because of the obvious Shakespeare pun. And yes, I saw Tomb Raider *bounce* *bounce*
