Well, it's been about half a week since this site started, and we've already managed to pick up a few empassioned users. Thanks so much for joining! ;D ;D
Now that I have you here, what can I do to make this site something you'll enjoy even more? What do you think about what's already here?
My goal is to make this site as enjoyable and accessible as possible. I started it with the hope of having a place I could come to every evening and find lively discussion about my favorite literature of all time, and it's already happening! Please please please don't hesitate to let me know what I can do to make the site better, and please don't hesitate to spread the word!
Thanks so much! shaxper

Hi Shaxper! I think it was a great idea to start a Shakespeare forum. I'm really interested in what other Shakespeare addicts think about him and his works; it's refreshing. People here have such great insights that I actually feel like I don't use my brains enough. So maybe I'll restrict myself to just reading messages for now (but as soon as I feel I have something to share, I'll do it). And concerning the look of the site: It looks fine. Black is good. And you get a good overview of the different topics. You did a great job so far! PS. Here's a suggestion (but I don't know if it's realizable)-- it's just a detail: perhaps the font is a little 'plain'. I have a font called 'Shakespeare' on my pc; shall I send it to you? It's not that spectacular, but still. I know there is a much more beautiful one, but I don't have it... you can get a preview at www.waldenfont.com/typecase/fontloader.asp?ID=29Hope you like it...

Hey Desdemona! I'm so glad to see you here! I've loved reading your posts at Shakespeare.com, so please don't feel like you don't have something to contribute. I know Ganymede and I tend to get locked in these really intense debates about gender from time to time, but you're more than welcome to enter the frey...or start your own topic Thanks for your kind thoughts about the site, so far. I would love to use your "Shakespeare" font, at least for the page's banner (which is a little plain right now). How would I go about getting it on my computer? Thanks for your thoughts, and please feel free to write! We're all looking forward to it!!! ;D ;D ;D Shaxper
